The SmartFiber is an easy to use yet accurate fiber optic power meter. It is suitable to test both single mode and multi mode fiber in three calibrated wavelengths; 850nm, 1310nm and 1550nm. It tests for optical power from +3 to -60 dBm dynamic range.

The SmartFiber utilizes an InGaAs detector for improved sensitivity and temperature stability. This tester comes equipped with a 2.5mm universal adaptor for use with common fiber interfaces such as ST/SC/FC/FDDA. The SmartFiber can also send analog tone signals (270Hz, 1KHz, 2KHz) simultaneously for identification purposes
