Our Cat6a Outdoor/Direct Burial bulk cable is ideal for making cable runs between structures either above the ground or buried below grade. Both types of cable are CMX rated for UV resistance and protection against moisture.

Performance Rated Cable

This Cat6a outdoor cable meets and exceeds the TIA/EIA 568B performance requirements for Cat6a cable. Perfect for use with 10/100/1000Base-T and 10GBase-T high speed Ethernet network installations. Our Outdoor/Direct Burial bulk cable uses solid, pure copper conductors and is available as shielded or unshielded twisted pairs.

SHIELDED CABLE (STP) VS UNSHIELDED CABLE (UTP)

Cat 6 cables are most commonly utilized with unshielded twisted pairs (UTP). However, environments with large motors, generators, and certain types of high-voltage lighting are major sources of Electromagnetic and Radio Frequency Interference (EMI/RFI). In these applications, shielded twisted pair (STP) cable will help protect data signals when connected properly.
